W A R  IN  IRAQ

CNN/U.S didn't have much play time during war with Iraq. Only when news broke that the war has began and
the bombardment on Baghdad, CNNI joined CNN/U.S. Coverage probably because they only had Nic Robertson in Baghdad. CNN/U.S. didn't had 1 minute play time during war days. Well, it seems to me that CNNI producers don't like CNN/U.S. reporting cause their reporting might be too patriotic. But all in all CNN did cover the war in a good way.

Aaron Brown lead with the Breaking News coverage

As the war began, on CNN:

LARRY KING: I'm going to interrupt you. All right. I'm going to interrupt you. I'm told that air raid sirens are now being heard in Baghdad. Air raid sirens are now being heard in Baghdad right now. You're looking at Baghdad right now.
...
LARRY KING: All right. Let's -- hold it, hold it, Bob. I'm going to -- let's go to Aaron Brown in Atlanta and he'll get us up to date -- Aaron.

AARON BROWN: Larry, thank you.

Good evening, everyone.
As Larry has said, and we are now hearing reports, air raid sirens are going off in Baghdad. We are also getting indications from our correspondent there,

Nic Robertson, that it -- Nic, it's Aaron, can you hear me?
These are shots of Baghdad. These are stationary cameras that are setup around the city. It is early morning there, very early morning, the sun yet to come up, as you can tell.
